Hello, Hola, Oi, Ciao! My name is Vanessa. I am the owner and lead teacher of One Planet Family Daycare. I created One Planet to share my expertise and experience with my community in addition to bringing high quality daycare to Anne Arundel county in Maryland.
I spent my childhood and adolescence growing up on military bases in different cities, where I learned to speak fluently in 4 different languages; English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Later on I graduated with a degree in administrative law and then specialized in international law. I then spent the beginning of my legal career working in embassies all over the world. After that I was invited to be a professor of law at Loyola University.
I moved to the United States in 2015 and continued teaching Spanish and Italian language to children of all ages. I feel fortunate to be a part of the educational system, where I am proud to contribute my ideas, passion, and dedication.
My hobbies include reading about history and enjoying time outside taking in nature and all the beautiful animals. I absolutely love riding horses in the countryside and have competed since I was young.
I feel privileged and excited to use my talents and experience to help contribute to the future of so many children.

Hello! My name is Jeremy and I am Vanessa's husband, since the start we have worked together building One Planet brick by brick, day by day. I spend most of my time on the back end managing the operation aspect of the daycare. I have learned a lot on this journey and we are very proud to present One Planet Family Daycare.

Hola! I am the proud mother of two amazing daughters as well as a grandmother. Raising children was the most rewarding part of my life and I am happy to share my experience with One Planet. I have also worked in Early Education for 12 years and I am happy to be the substitute for such an amazing daycare.
